Zoom for Education
Learnalyze connects to your Zoom account to automatically sync and analyze classroom recordings to provide actionable teacher feedback.
Installation & Configuration
To enable the Zoom integration for your institution:
- Log in to your Learnalyze account as an Administrator.
- Navigate to School Settings > External Integrations.
- Click Link Zoom. This initiates a secure OAuth 2.0 handshake.
- Sign in with your Zoom Administrator credentials and review the requested permissions (Recording Read access).
- After clicking Allow, you will be redirected back to Learnalyze, where your unique
Institution IDis mapped to your ZoomAccount ID.
How the Integration Works
Automated Ingestion
Our system periodically polls Zoom’s Cloud Recording API for new meetings. Learnalyze identifies MP4 files and prepares them for lesson analysis.
Token Management
Learnalyze securely stores encrypted refresh tokens. We automatically refresh access tokens every hour to ensure uninterrupted syncing.
Deauthorization (Removal)
You can stop the integration and delete all associated tokens at any time through two methods:
Method 1: Via Learnalyze Dashboard
- Go to School Settings > External Integrations.
- Click Disconnect on the Zoom card.
- Confirm the action. Learnalyze will immediately delete your tokens from our secure database.
Method 2: Via Zoom Marketplace
- Login to your Zoom Account and navigate to the Zoom App Marketplace.
- Click Manage > Added Apps.
- Click Remove next to the Learnalyze app.
Data Security & Privacy
Learnalyze only requests recording:read scopes. We do not have access to your live meetings, contacts, or calendar data. All data is processed in compliance with ourPrivacy Policy.
